The Centre for High Performance Polymers undertakes research and development into the design, synthesis, characterisation, rheology, processing and flow simulation of biopolymers and polymer nanocomposites  and has  strong links with industry in terms of consultancy services (one-off or ongoing QAservices), short term research (single or staged projects) and longer term blue sky research projects (focusing on industry-wide innovations)
